Pashupatinath temple is the great holy place of hindu religion. It is the temple of Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva is known as the name of Mahadev, Pashupatinath also. Pashupatinath means the master of all living beings of the universe. As a traditional story of Pashupatinath, a cow used to come there daily and mysteriously offer her milk. When the gwala saw the cow's attitude, one day he quietly follows the cow. He saw the unbelievable attitude of his cow. That cow daily offer her milk in the same place. With the great curiosity he dug the place where that cow pour her milk. Than the gwala found the Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva.
